Global Warming!! Air Conditioner!! Global warming again!! Turn on the air conditioner !!! >> Brumm to Cocoa Crust 😣🌋

Indeed, the air conditioners we use to fight hot air are key puzzles in the fight against global warming?? 🧐

The air-conditioning system is used in buildings that are seen in the big city.

I’ve heard a lot of jokes, “Global warming, you’re going to have to be afraid of something, turn on the air.” In fact, this sentence has an interesting clue to hide.

In recent years, we’ve heard the news that many areas around the world have been experiencing a heat wave, in which many people have died.

But with a wealthy country, this problem is not a life because the air conditioning helps to cool off. Instead, they created another problem.

That is, the air conditioning in the area causes the power outage because the demand for electricity is too high for the system to support. Most recently, California has been power outages in many areas as almost all homes are open to air conditioning.

The latest heat wave hit California to break the record.

This is going to be a problem faced by the Global Energy Agency (IEA), which estimates that by 2050, more than 5.6 billion air conditioners will be installed worldwide.

In the near future, air conditioners will not be home appliances for convenience. But in some areas, it’s a tool that keeps surviving the heat

The graph predicts how many air conditioners will be installed until 2050.

In today’s big city, in the summer we can stay indoors, in a room, with just a fan, it is difficult.

And think about how, in the next year, if there’s a heat wave in our neighborhood, the air conditioner will become a standard appliance in every house.

The significant increase in the number of air conditioners worldwide comes from India. China and developing countries

There is still a population gap that is not yet accessible to the air conditioner today, along with the price of air conditioners that are likely to be cheaper and the need for almost every home to have air conditioning.

Proportion of air conditioning installations per household in different countries

The IEA estimates that more than 40% of household electricity demand will increase by 2050.

That means the world needs a huge amount of electricity to meet the demand for electricity in this area. It’s a traditional power plant that uses fossil fuels that has accelerated global warming.

Or it’s a renewable power plant that doesn’t know if it can be enough replacement and doesn’t affect the cost of electricity (if it’s going to produce solar panels to meet this size, it needs to be attached to more than 20 million 300-watt panels).

So it’s clear that the air conditioners we use are a pointing device for humanity’s future against the upcoming global warming. But we’re neglecting to use it to fight global warming.

Graph predicts electricity demand for future air conditioners

The IEA estimates that if air conditioning efficiency can be improved, it will be able to improve the efficiency of the air conditioner. We may reduce the projected energy demand by more than half.

And this air conditioner has had a significant impact on the environment since before, because the refrigerant was hydrofluorocarbons, which are greenhouse gases (not to mention CFC because they have been banned).

It agreed in 2016 to reduce refrigerant use and began using substitute refrigerants in HFOs such as propane or even carbon dioxide, mainly affecting cooling efficiency.

Today’s air conditioners are not much different from what they were launched nearly a century ago. Despite efforts to invent a new kind of cooling,

One of the main tasks of air cooling is to remove moisture from the air so that we feel comfortable, but it is also hard work that reduces cooling efficiency.

Nowadays, air conditioners that are so high-performance that they can reduce their energy consumption by nearly half are available on the market, but it’s like a fuel-efficient hybrid car. As a result, high-performance air conditioners are often the end of the consumer’s choice.

Although the minimum cooling efficiency of air conditioners is currently configured in our home laws, including the labeling of number 5 for air conditioners sold on the market.

But to make air conditioning high enough to tackle global warming at acceptable prices still requires more serious government support.

It’s also good that air inverters are starting to have more options in the market.

In order to stimulate the development of air conditioners high enough to fight global warming, the global cooling prize has been established.

Global cooling prize sponsors

It has a $3 million prize pool. For this contest of new cooling technologies to be used to fight global warming.

The goal is to find cooling technology that affects climate change by at least 5 times, with air conditioning technology that uses 3–5 times reduced energy.

If the contest is successful, This new technology could help slow the rise in global temperatures by at least 1 degree to 2100 and reduce electricity consumption by 3.2 trillion units per year.

It is currently the eighth finalist in the contest, with indian, American, Japanese, Chinese and British companies.

There are both existing players in the air conditioning industry and startups.

The last eight finalists

Each of you has a lot of interesting technologies, such as:

- Solid-state Barocaloric cooling technology, refrigerant without refrigerant, relies on changing the state of the refrigerant in liquid and gas form.

- The use of a special membrane removes moisture from the air before entering the fresh air process to reduce the burden of reducing air humidity.

- The use of a single condensing unit in combination with 3 evaporators and relying on refrigerant control to suit the cooling load, and the condensing unit also has an evaporative cooling system that reduces the temperature of the air that is blown into the cooling panel to maximize cooling efficiency.

If you’re interested in looking into the details of each technology, but mostly,

Development to increase air conditioning efficiency can actually be done without waiting, such as designing a building with a cool roof such as solar roof, green roof.

Painting a building with a hot color Heat-resistant fill in the mirror. Use a wall with hot insulation. The room was very friendly and helpful.

Or even the development of special materials used to cool the cooling system back into space through thermal radiation with special wavelengths of light. That can penetrate through the molecules of the gas in the atmosphere (directly exothermic from earth).

It’s a heat-away panel back in space.

The new cooling panel can be applied to existing air conditioning systems by SkyCool. 10–70% depending on building style and weather conditions

Nowadays, the money flowing into the air conditioning industry to develop new cooling technologies is very small compared to the energy industry. Car EV batteries, etc.

But in 2015, there were only eight groups with $40 million in funding, but in the past year there were more than 35 groups with more than $350 million in funding to stimulate the development of the industry.

But hopefully people will start to realise and turn to the developments that we’re using are powerful enough to help slow global warming rather than accelerate us to the catastrophe.

Don’t make it look like tenet.

Don’t let our children send back the nine algorithms to take care of our generation to get them out of the global warming (who haven’t watched the movie, sorry, 😁).
